Regional Housing Public Input Meeting: Springdale

June 7, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

The Northwest Arkansas region is growing, with new residents arriving every day to fill local jobs and contribute to the regional economy. Developing a regional housing approach is critical to ensuring that communities in Northwest Arkansas increase access to opportunity through housing investments and related policies. Creating great neighborhoods with high-quality housing creates pathways to opportunity for everyone. Please attend the public meetings to learn more about the housing trends in the region and provide feedback on housing challenges in your community.

The Walton Family Foundation, University of Arkansas, Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission and Enterprise Community Partner are partnering on this project looking at housing in NWA. The goal is to define an approach for responsible regional housing growth over the next 10 years that is inclusive of the needs across all income levels. The hope is that the Regional Housing Report becomes a tool that local stakeholders can leverage with funders and legislators, and builds the community will to address this looming regional challenge.
