DRAFT FY 2026 UPWP: The Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission (NWARPC) is inviting public comment on the proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP). The FY2026 UPWP outlines the planning activities of the NWARPC from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: The public comment period will be held from Monday, March 31, 2025 through Monday, April 14, 2025. Written comments can be sent to comments@nwarpc.org. APPROVAL PROCESS: The RPC/Policy Committee will consider comments and the draft FY 2026 UPWP for adoption on April 23, 2025 at 1:30pm. Meeting information can be found at www.nwarpc.org/events/.
The Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) describes planning and management activities conducted by NWARPC. It illustrates the relationship between adopted goals, objectives, program activities, and provides the program activities and products. The program outlines the scope of activities to be undertaken by NWARPC in each fiscal year which begins on July 1 and ends June 30.
The Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) was approved by the RPC/Policy Committee on April 24, 2024.
